Twice this year, I've had the pleasure of working with The Last Bison. I was part of the 2012 Veer Local Music Awards for the Eastern Virginia alternative magazine back in February and I shot and interviewed them for Veer again from the road in Portland, OR in September. They keep gaining in (deserved) popularity and I'm really stoked to see where 2013 takes these talented musicians. Here's a video they just shot from NYC's The Knitting Factory for NBC-NY where Ben talks about the band's neo-Victorian aesthetic. Enjoy!

Pied Pipered
Last night I shot the R Kelly show at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk. And Jesse Scaccia & I did a new conversation review for AltDaily, which you can read here.
AltDaily also has the funniest pics I shot. Below are some more normal ones.

Fingers
My lovely friend Celeste, who is a San Francisco based blogger, recently shot my hands for a spread in The Violet magazine on holiday manicures.
First time I can say I've been in a magazine without having to write or shoot or layout or anything besides get a free manicure along with a couple of awesome friends!

Cellphmade Submissions
jESiOwastaken is now on Instagram! It has been since July but I never got around to posting any of my phone pictures here, over-thinking pixelations and such.
Now VA MOCA is sponsoring a phone photography exhibit at their Granby Street pop up gallery on December 15! Here are the ones I've submitted.
